Alice Smith not only attends most meetings, she occasionally hosts the DFALink north county group. Alice is a dynamite activist, involved in other groups that mesh well with ours, such as the ACLU. If we're precincting, she does her own precinct thoroughly, including getting out the vote, and is excellent with email. She hosted a party for Charlie Brown last year that netted over $4000, and was one of the mainstays of last month's wildflower walk for Jerry, which brought in $1450. An attorney, Alice is currently deeply involved (along with Karen Porter) in the county Democratic party leadership's drive to get voter registration at the local VA hospitals. We need this kind of energy, organization, and savvy in a co-chair!
